Movie of your Life Tag

Movie of your Life Tag

I was tagged by the lovely Lianne from Mrs Mummy Harris in the movie of your life tag.  I can’t say I’ve thought about this many times, so this post was procrastinated over for a whole evening by myself and Stu.  Here are our answers!

1. Who would play you in the movie, and why?

This wasn’t a hard one to choose, Isla Fisher!  As a fellow redhead, it was an obvious choice.  I love her, she is so beautiful and funny.  Plus her portrayal Rebecca Bloomwood was so good in Confessions of a Shopaholic, I’m sure she could do me justice!  My shopping problem isn’t quite that bad, but I do love to shop!

2. Who would play your Significant Other? (if you have one)

I think Jim Carrey, it has to be really.  Perhaps in younger days rather than now.  Stuart has watched every film he’s been in, and I’m pretty sure he’s had a massive influence on his sense of humour as well. Most of his jokes are quotes from Jim Carrey films, so it would be a pretty easy role for him!

3. What genre of movie would it be?

A comedy, for sure!  We are always laughing in our house, Stu is a bit of a comedian (well at least he thinks so..!) so he is always joking about or saying/doing something funny!

4. What would the movie be called?

Well, ‘We are the Miller’s’ is already taken, and we are most certainly not drug smugglers.  So maybe ‘Haven’t got a Clue’ because quite frankly, who does?!

5. What would be the opening song at the start of the movie?

One of Stu’s favourite film is Mrs Doubtfire, and he loves this song from it.  So why not?!  I love it too and it has plenty of energy, which is something that’s in abundance in our house!

I’m tagging Vicki from tippytupps Jen from Just Average Jen and Sara from Chaos and Conversation.  I look forward to seeing who your leading ladies and gents will be!

I’ve always had a lady crush on Isla Fisher ever since she was in Home & Away! She’s such a fittie! I love that you’re always laughing in your house, and I love that tune for the same reason as your hubby! Mrs Doubtfire is an amazing movie and I often answer the phone to my mum in her voice to wind her up!
